How data is used
Racing Box retrieves public race schedules, session information, standings, results, and circuit weather from third-party services. The underlying information remains free to view inside the app. Racing Box Pro only unlocks additional Home Screen widget presentations and personalization.
Access to and reuse of provider material is governed by each provider’s current terms and licences. Listing a provider here does not mean that the provider sponsors or endorses Racing Box.
OpenF1
Used for race meetings, sessions, results, and related motorsport information.
Jolpica
Used as a source or fallback for season schedules, standings, and race results.
Open-Meteo
Weather data by Open-Meteo.com, used for circuit forecasts and rain signals.
Country flags
Bundled country flags are factual location identifiers downloaded from Flagpedia / FlagCDN, which states that its downloadable flag set is free for commercial and non-commercial use and based on Wikimedia Commons vector files. Governmental-symbol rules may apply independently of copyright.
Processing, caching, and corrections
Racing Box may normalize provider field names, translate labels, convert session times to the device’s selected time zone, calculate display-only countdowns or summaries, and cache recent responses for app and widget reliability. Bundled fallback data may appear during temporary provider outages.
Provider data can be delayed, incomplete, or corrected after publication. Racing Box does not provide official live timing. Verify time-sensitive information with the relevant official organizer.
Trademarks and independence
Racing Box is independently developed and unofficial. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any racing series, team, driver, circuit, or listed data provider.
All third-party names, trademarks, logos, and visual identities remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply endorsement, and Racing Box claims no ownership of them.
